The Kansas City Chiefs went to the Black Hole for the final time and left with a 28-10 victory over the Oakland Raiders. Who were the winners and who were the losers in this game?

Winning divisional games is always important and that was especially true for the Kansas City Chiefs in their 28-10 win over the Las Vegas Oakland Raiders, as the good guys now sit at 2-0 and are at the top of the AFC West.

Rather than doing my good, bad, ugly editions that I’ve done over the last several years, I opted to go with a new topic this year and that’s “winners and losers”. These aren’t as simple as the Chiefs are the winners and the Raiders are the losers, but going a little more in depth.

So, without further ado, let’s check out the winners and losers from week two.

WINNER: OFFENSIVE LINE

While it wasn’t a perfect game and early on it looked like it’d be ugly, the Kansas City Chiefs offensive line were winners this week. Eric Fisher was deemed out for this game due to a groin injury and that seemed problematic.

Cameron Erving stepped in and despite some sloppy play here and there, held his own. The Chiefs o-line held the Raiders defensive front to just two sacks on Patrick Mahomes and that was acceptable considering how badly it looked early on.
