When the final whistle blows to conclude the end of the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2019 season, they’ll hold a 12-4 record and that should be enough to get them yet another AFC West and hopefully the top seed in the AFC.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

This is the most hyped season in Kansas City Chiefs history since maybe the 2004 season where the Chiefs lit the league on fire the season prior. Everyone is talking Super Bowl in Kansas City and for good reason. This team has the explosiveness, the speed, and the overall talent to make it to Miami in February.

While the defense isn’t up to par, Brett Veach made key additions this year and that should go a long way with helping the Chiefs in the moments they couldn’t deliver last season. Will it make a difference? We’ll find out.

The losses the staff predicted on the 2019 schedule were against the Broncos in week seven, the Titans in week ten, the Patriots in week 14, and the Bears in week 16. Two of those teams failed to make the postseason last year, but considering one is a Thursday night road game and the other is a franchise that has crushed the Chiefs in recent years, those predictions seem fair.
