RANKING QUARTERBACKS ON CHIEFS SCHEDULE

NUMBER 5 – KIRK COUSINS

Kirk Cousins is yet another tough one to place. On the one hand, the Vikings went all in on him and thought he was their surefire shot at making it to the postseason again in 2018. That wasn’t the case.

Cousins wasn’t bad by any stretch of the imagination though. He threw for 4,298 yards, 30 touchdowns, and ten interceptions. Cousins is a lot scarier considering that he has two of the best wide receivers in the NFL at this disposal in Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs.

Like Stafford, Cousins is one of those middle tier quarterbacks. He’s capable of putting up big time numbers in any given week, but he’s also more than capable of putting up a stinker as well. That’s what makes him so hard to place on this list.

If Cousins is bringing his A-game to the gridiron, he’s the fifth toughest signal caller KC will see in 2019.
