Marcus Kemp

Marcus Kemp only falls to the bottom of this list because he has been ruled out for the season with a knee injury. Unfortunately, for both Kemp and the Chiefs, the big-bodied receiver was putting together his best offseason yet.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

It’s not only a loss for the number five or six spot on the depth chart, but a big loss to Dave Toub’s special teams as well. It’s hard to know Kemp’s future status with the team as he spends the next year recovering from injury. This is the unfortunate price that both players and teams can pay during the preseason games.

Conclusion

Barring any injuries, it looks like the Kansas City Chiefs’ top four places on the wide receiver depth chart at set. Having the names Hill, Watkins, Robinson, and Hardman in those spots is a great position for Kansas City to be in.

Even having decent prospects in the five and six spots looks promising for an offense charged to have another big year. Hopefully, the Chiefs will stay healthy at the position and yet have some talent ready and waiting if things weren’t to go as planned.
