Six Trades for the Kansas City Chiefs to Explore
With all kinds of possibilities for the Kansas City Chiefs to go after, these are a few of the guys that should head the top of the list.
With Chiefs having somewhere around 20 million in cap space, all players above would be able to come in without worrying about being paid.
The bulk of salary numbers would come from your big names like Patrick Peterson and Josh Norman who are both owed over 10 million in the next two seasons before becoming free agents. Josh Jackson is still on his rookie contract while Seals-Jones and Ward are playing out a one-year pay and play season for their teams.

There is a common theme in most of these trades with giving up a draft pick. Draft picks are a very valued commodity for teams in which they are able to bring in new guys on team friendly deals each season.
The other common part is trading outside of the AFC (with the exception of Ramsey). Giving away players or draft picks to a team you compete with yearly, especially in the playoffs, is something that most teams would try and avoid if possible.
If the Kansas City Chiefs are serious about making a deep postseason run and getting into the Super Bowl, these are the kinds of acquisitions and guys you go after to reach these goals. With little depth surrounding mostly the cornerback, it is easy to tell which position they need to attack the hardest.
While the terms of trades or the give and receive could be altered, you do what you need to make these guys part of your team and get to the big game!
