TOM BRADY – MVP IN 2017

Tom Brady’s second appearance on this list comes as a result of his most recent MVP campaign, the 2017 season. Brady, who was 40 years old during the course of the 2017 season, threw for 4,577 yards, 32 touchdowns, and eight interceptions.

The Patriots went 13-3 and lost in the Super Bowl to Philadelphia. Brady threw for over 500 yards in that game and a strong case could have been made for him to have been the game’s MVP, despite being on the losing side of things. No one felt sorry for him though.

Brady followed up that MVP campaign with a decent season, but not nearly MVP worthy. He threw for 4,355 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions in a season that saw the Patriots go 11-5 and win their sixth Super Bowl, this time against the Rams.

Brady wasn’t in the MVP conversations due to the “lower numbers” and the fact that New England relied heavily on their run game rather than passing game in 2018. Even without winning his fourth MVP, I highly doubt Brady cared that he wasn’t the Most Valuable Player when he won the biggest game in sports for the sixth time in his career.

Somebody please stop this man from winning anymore Super Bowls.
