There’s a lot of hype for the Missouri Tigers football team this year and why shouldn’t there be? Even with a possible postseason ban, this season’s team should be able to win most of the games on their schedule.

We all joke about the “Mizzou curse” and sometimes it seems all too real. Losing to any of these opponents might make that curse seem real in 2019, as MU is more talented than all three of these teams.

More from Missouri Tigers

Troy is included due to having beaten Missouri in the past and the fact that they’ve taken down big wigs like LSU and Nebraska in the past few years. They could easily roll into Columbia and give the Tigers hell.

Ole Miss is a bit of an unknown, especially for Mizzou fans who haven’t seen the two play in six years, but they could end up being a surprise in the SEC this year. This is a home game for Missouri, which obviously gives them the edge, but the Rebels could potentially pull of the upset.

Lastly, those annoying South Carolina Gamecocks, who have had Missouri’s number during their time in the SEC. South Carolina has won their last three match-ups against the Tigers and last year’s came in close fashion during a long rain delay in Columbia, SC.

Can Missouri snap their losing streak to the Gamecocks or will they continue to get beat by the team who also plays in a city called Columbia?

What about you, Mizzou fans? Which games on the 2019 schedule do you think could be trap games?
