The AFC West is littered with talent, but the rookies this year will be a lot of fun to watch.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

The rookies I’ve listed here are just a TASTE of what the Kansas City Chiefs will be up against for the next several years. Every team in the division had themselves a nice draft and it’ll be interesting to see if the Broncos or Raiders outperform their expectations this year because of any of these rooks.

For the Broncos, one of their rookies being a quarterback automatically makes him someone to watch for. Sure, the Chargers drafted Easton Stick, but we all know Philip Rivers isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Flacco could be benched if he has a few bad games.

For the Kansas City Chiefs, their scariest rookie this season would probably be Mecole Hardman or Juan Thornhill. Hardman possesses crazy speed while Thornhill has the ability to play both corner and safety and can shore up a position of weakness for this organization.
