The Future

This team has yet to put everything together, but that’s to be expected with a rebuilding team in just its second year. The I-29 express should stay active the rest of the way, as we can expect to see more prospects make their Major League debuts in the coming weeks and months.

More from Kansas City Royals

Bubba Starling will make his big league debut sometime this year if he keeps hitting well and that’s been a long time coming for the Gardner, Kansas native.

We haven’t seen the Royals go through a big winning streak yet either. We will before too long because when this offense is on, it’s downright explosive at times. If the pitching and hitting get hot at the same time, this club could easily win 15 out of 20 games.

As I have heard Dayton Moore say before, they need to learn how to win games! The good news is that fans didn’t expect to contend this year, but we’re slowly, but surely starting to see some progression, even if it is small.
