The Broncos, Raiders, and Chargers all fell short of catching the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018, and with the emergence of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the task became that much greater.

And yet, each team had a solid offseason as they prepare to take down the KC Chiefs.

Will it be enough?

Rarely is it that a division finishes one year as it did the year before. That could happen with the AFC West in 2019, though. It’s impossible to predict based on injuries, however, but based on the moves by all four teams this offseason, it looks like the only change could be at the top, with the Chargers once again giving the Chiefs all they can handle.

But come 2020 and the years beyond, the Broncos and Raiders (starring a certain, current Crimson Tide quarterback) could be right there with the Chiefs and Chargers. Moves made this offseason look like solid ones for the future for Denver and, um, Las Vegas.
