ADALBERTO MONDESI IS FAST… LIKE, REALLY FAST

… but we already knew that, didn’t we?

For Royals fans who DIDN’T know about Adalberto Mondesi‘s speed, they got to see it on full display on Thursday evening. The first moment was in the fourth inning when he roped a single to right field and decided to go for third base.

Initially, Mondesi was called out, but a successful challenge proved he was safe and the triple was official! The second time Mondesi showed off the wheels was in the seventh inning where he once again hit a triple. Two triples in one game!

Fans are excited to see how Mondesi does this season and if Opening Day is any indication as to how this season will go, let’s buckle up, Royals Nation! It could be a fun season as far as Mondesi’s development goes.
