New England Patriots (11-5)

In what is considered one of the best modern rivalries in football, the six-time Super Bowl Champs and the Kansas City Chiefs are always a brutal showing of athletic talent. The New England Patriots have always posed a looming threat to any team that faces them, and playing at Gillette Stadium can be just as daunting.

In the upcoming season, the Chiefs will go on the road for a redemption match against the Patriots in Foxborough. Last season, the Patriots delivered some painful losses to the Chiefs, including in the game that pushed the Patriots to the Super Bowl.

Defensive moves by the Chiefs will pose a harder challenge for the Patriots, who picked a part the Bob Sutton-led defense with great success in the 2018 season. This will, without a doubt, be a high-scoring affair.

Tennessee Titans (9-7)

Marcus Mariota and the Titans were predominately successful last season, but were kept out of the postseason and finishing third in the AFC South. This was the also the third time the Titans went 9-7 and were kept out of the playoffs.

The game against the Kansas City Chiefs in the upcoming season will be the ultimate grudge match. The Chiefs were dealt another painful playoff loss from the Titans at the conclusion of the 2017 regular season, in the AFC Wildcard Round.

The Chiefs blew a 21 point lead to Mariota, giving up 22 points in the 2nd half of the game. This game will be an arm-wrestling match of powerful quarterbacks, and with the Chiefs new defensive coaching staff could play to their favor.
