Kansas City Chiefs: Three players to extend in 2019 offseason
So there you have it, three players I believe the Chiefs should give extensions to in the 2019 season.
A lot of you are probably wondering why Dee Ford didn’t make this list. While I do think he’s an important piece to any defense, I’m just not sure he will be worth the contract he’s going to demand, especially with big deals for Jones and Hill looming.

The Chiefs will franchise tag Ford because they’d be silly not to, but with the new 4-3 scheme coming into place, it will be interesting to see how he fits in. Spagnuolo was a mastermind when he had all those pass rushers in New York, so you could potentially see a guy like Ford flourish under his coaching.
Other honorable mentions on this list are Demarcus Robinson and Mitchell Schwartz.
Schwartz is still under contract for another two seasons, so he’s not as high of a priority. Robinson is a take it or leave it type of player. Pass catchers can be found at all levels of the draft, especially ones that bring the same type of production he does.
