The Kansas City Chiefs have a lot of players hitting the free agent market this spring, but these four players deserve to be with the franchise for at least another season.

There were some players I considered putting on here, like Anthony Sherman and Orlando Scandrick, but ultimately, I went with these four. Sherman plays at a dying position and Scandrick was outplayed by Charvarius Ward. Enough said there.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

Let’s recap the four Chiefs I hope the organization keeps.

Harrison Butker has been nails at the kicker position since coming in during the 2017 season. As I mentioned on Butker’s slide, kicking woes can make or break a team’s season, so don’t mess with a good thing, Chiefs. Re-sign this guy ASAP.

Jordan Lucas came out of nowhere at safety and could be a player on the rise. The Chiefs need help at that position, but Lucas is young enough that he’s worth taking a chance on with a one or two year contract.

Kelvin Benjamin did next to nothing in his limited time as a Chief, but with Chris Conley likely out, that could open things up for Benjamin to see the field more.

Lastly, Jeff Allen provides depth along the offensive line. He could be a swing man should injuries occur (and they will occur).

What do you think, Chiefs fans? Who do you want the team to re-sign this offseason?
