The Sunday afternoon game is a good one, as the Saints and the Superdome play host to the Eagles, who just won’t go away. Nick Foles has been on a magic run while at the helm for the Eagles, once again filling in for an injured Carson Wentz during the end of the regular season and the playoffs.
Philly had to win out and hope that Minnesota lost in the final week of the season in order to get to the postseason and both of those things happened. We all saw the “double doink” in Chicago last week that allowed the Eagles to advance to the next round.
The Saints have been one of the best teams in the league all season long and they proved it by securing the top seed in the NFC. Led by Drew Brees, the Saints have looked unbeatable at times, but the last month of the regular season wasn’t as high-flying for them.
The first time these two teams met, New Orleans blew out the Eagles. It’d be crazy to think that’ll happen again though because Philly is a different team under Foles.
KC Kingdom was unanimous in picking this game. We’re all on the Saints.
