Kansas City Chiefs: The Prayer Before the Storm
The Kansas City Chiefs host the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Divisional Round and to say that fans are on edge would be an understatement. Let’s have faith in this team!
The Kansas City Chiefs are just hours away from their divisional round playoff game and I wanted to send my fellow fans into the game with some good VooDoo. Back in 2015 when the Kansas City Royals were in the World Series, I would text Royals-related prayers about the Royals starting pitcher that night to my buddy Jared.
Those prayers seemed to work so I wanted to give Chiefs fans this Chiefs-related prayer as they either walk into Arrowhead this afternoon, or, are setting the scene at home on their televisions.
It’s understandable why fans are anxious for this game, as the playoffs have not been very kind to Chiefs fans in previous years. This year feels different though and fans should be confident in this Chiefs team because of Patrick Mahomes, who has put up MVP numbers all season long.

Why not have faith when it comes to number 15? Anyway, those prayers I did for the Royals worked so well that the team won the Wold Series, so let’s hope this Chiefs one has the same effect on the hometown team! Here it is!

FREAKING RISE UP CHIEFS FANS!
I know our hearts are painted black with past failures but walk into Arrowhead not on pins and needles, but on pride and excitement knowing the MVP plays for YOUR team. If you’re not excited to see number 15 spin the ball against the team who has brought us the most demons then I don’t know how you watch sports!
Patrick Mahomes is thy chosen one, he will slay the neck bearded dragon, Andrew Luck and the Chiefs Kingdom will finally be free to move forward as a city and fanbase.
