REASONS TO BE SCARED IN DIVISIONAL ROUND

NUMBER 5 – COLTS DEFENSE

The Colts defense traditionally hasn’t been all that good, but they shredded that label this weekend when they held Houston to just seven points. It’s definitely worth noting that the Texans offense isn’t anywhere close to Kansas City’s in production, but Indy showed that they can make plays defensively when they need to.

Indy held Deshaun Watson to 235 yards through the air while sacking him three times. They surrendered just over 100 yards rushing.

Their defense sits 16th in passing yards per game, eighth in rushing yards per game, and 11th in total yards per game. The Colts haven’t really played tough offenses much this year and that favors the Chiefs, but their defense showed that when push comes to shove, they can make a key stop or a big play when needed.
