The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Indianapolis Colts this Saturday in the AFC Divisional Round. There are reasons to be fearful as the Chiefs go for their first home playoff win in two decades.

Let me start by saying this. This year’s Kansas City Chiefs team is different than years past because of one thing: the man, the myth, the legend Patrick Mahomes. The hope among Chiefs Kingdom is that Mahomes truly is the difference maker for this franchise because if there’s any year where the path to a Super Bowl looks imminent, it’s this year.

The Chiefs have the number one overall seed in the AFC and this year truly has been special. Mahomes has been the reason for the specialness behind the 2018 campaign and we’ll find out on Saturday if he’s truly the difference for this organization.

Kansas City will welcome in the sixth-seeded Colts, who dominated the Texans in a game that was 21-0 at half time and ended up being 21-7. The Texans couldn’t do much of anything against the Colts defense and Indy ultimately reigned supreme.

While the Colts are the six-seed, they are going to be the sexy upset pick among analysts this week. Let’s take a look at why the Colts are scary this weekend.
