The Kansas City Chiefs finished the year at 12-4 and a third straight AFC West title. They hold the top seed in the AFC playoffs and that means if an AFC team wants to make it to the Super Bowl, they have to come through Arrowhead.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

I haven’t always been the most optimistic this season, but Sunday’s win was exactly what the Kansas City Chiefs needed. They blew out a bad team and their defense had one of their best games of the season.

The defense has been the most frustrating aspect of this Chiefs team, but the offense has the ability to put points up on anyone on any given day. I feel much better about this team getting to the AFC Championship Game, but we’ll have to see how the other games play out and who KC gets for the Divisional Round.

Arrowhead Stadium has kind of lost its luster over the years, but Chiefs Kingdom has a chance to get that mojo back and make it an intimidating environment for this year’s playoffs. Hopefully that’s the case because getting to the Super Bowl isn’t going to be easy!
