ALL-TIME LEADERS IN RECEIVING YARDS FOR NEBRASKA FOOTBALL

NUMBER 14 – DEMORNAY PIERSON-EL (1,309)

HUSKER WIDE RECEIVER 2014-2017

Another recent name for Husker fans is Demornay Pierson-El, who was with Nebraska as recently as 2017. Pierson-El was at his best as a senior in 2017, when he had 45 receptions for 623 yards and five touchdowns.

Pierson-El was mostly known for his special teams contributions, being named as an All-American as a freshman in the 2014 season. It was well deserved too, as Pierson-El had three special teams touchdowns as a freshman.

Demornay Pierson-El finished his Husker career with 1,309 yards and 11 touchdowns off of 100 receptions. He went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, but spent a brief time with the Redskins before being waived. He’s now a member of the Salt Lake Stallions, which is a part of the newly established Alliance of American Football.
