Nebraska Football: All-Time Leaders in Receiving Yards
Nebraska football has had some great receivers in their storied history. Who are the leaders in receiving yards for the Cornhuskers over time?
While Nebraska football has typically had a reputation as being a run-heavy program, the Cornhuskers really have had some great wide receivers over time. With the offseason in full swing, let’s take a look at the leaders in receiving yards for Big Red.
ALL-TIME LEADERS IN RECEIVING YARDS FOR NEBRASKA FOOTBALL
NUMBER 15 – BRANDON REILLY (1,275)
HUSKER WIDE RECEIVER FROM 2013-2016
Kicking off this list is Brandon Reilly, who was a walk-on for the Huskers and spent four years with the Huskers. He was coached by Bo Pelini the first two seasons of his career and was then with Mike Riley for the final two years.
Reilly didn’t do a ton his first two years in Lincoln, but was a big offensive presence in the 2015 season when he appeared in 12 games. During those 12 games, Reilly hauled in 40 receptions for 754 yards and four touchdowns.
He finished his four-year stint with 70 receptions for 1,275 yards and six touchdowns. He was always that big time receiver who Tommy Armstrong especially had a connection with during his tenure there.
Brandon Reilly’s big time catches got him to 15th all-time in Nebraska receiving yards.
