Kansas City Chiefs: Good, Bad, Ugly vs Browns in week 9 of 2018
The Chiefs won this game handily, but it didn’t feel like it was an easy win whatsoever.
With a 21-16 lead at half time, it felt like the Kansas City Chiefs could have done more damage in the first half. That’s definitely a good sign that 21 points isn’t good enough offense for this team and shows that the fans expect an offensive explosion each and every week.

The offense is great, but the defense is still very concerning. Baker Mayfield looked like a true veteran out there on Sunday and nearly threw for 300 yards against this Chiefs secondary.
The good news is that Kansas City’s defense is forcing turnovers now and getting to the quarterback. Not many teams play great defense in total’s NFL, but forcing turnovers and getting sacks are the difference between lousy defenses and not so lousy defenses.
The Chargers continue to sit right on the Chiefs’ heels and until the Bolts drop a game or two, the Chiefs have to stay hot. The AFC West division is still up for grabs between either of these teams.
Next up for the Chiefs is a really bad Cardinals team. Even with Arizona being as bad as they are, this isn’t a game to look past. The Chiefs will face a rookie quarterback for the second straight week and they will get the Birds at Arrowhead, but this team needs to take it week by week. No need to look ahead.
For now, however, let’s celebrate this win! 8-1 feels good!
