Say what you will about the Chiefs this year, but when the playoffs get here, that defense will need to make some stops. This team won’t get to the Super Bowl if the defense performs how it did in Foxboro a few weeks back.
While adding someone like Patrick Peterson might be too steep of a price, it’d definitely improve the defense. Landon Collins or Morris Claiborne would help significantly too and the cost for them might not be as much.
Brandon Graham is an unlikely candidate to trade for, as the Eagles play in a weak division and probably won’t be up for putting anyone on the trade block. He’d be a nice edge option for the Chiefs, but let’s not get our hopes up.
The trade deadline is right around the corner, so we’ll see if the Chiefs end up making any moves or not. Even trading for one player who could contribute would be welcomed by Chiefs Kingdom.
