GOOD: OFFENSE

Sorry for the bland “GOOD” segments tonight, but I didn’t feel it was fair to single out players when the units as a whole played fantastic. The offense, once again, was tremendous and they’re getting grouped together.

Patrick Mahomes lit it up on Sunday Night Football, throwing for 358 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception while adding another 45 yards on the ground. Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth couldn’t stop talking about him during the broadcast and it was so nice to finally have the broadcasters gushing over OUR guy.

Kareem Hunt was on fire all night, rushing for 86 yards and a touchdown off 15 carries. Hunt also was heavily involved in the receiving game, totaling 55 yards and two touchdowns off five receptions. We wanted to see Hunt get more involved and that he did.

Just about everyone got involved in the passing game. Travis Kelce led the Chiefs in receiving yards with 95 off of five receptions. Watching people try to tackle Kelce was comical.

The offensive line played incredibly well too considering they had two players out due to injury. Mahomes was only sacked twice and Hunt had holes to run through.

This offense is an absolute blast to watch, man and there haven’t been many signs to indicate they’ll be slowing down any time soon.
