Mizzou football has its toughest game all year this Saturday, as they head down south to face the Alabama Crimson Tide. What should MU fans be watching for in this game?

After a 3-0 start to the year, the Missouri Tigers have hit a slump and have lost their last two games. Both of those losses have come in the SEC, making Mizzou 0-2 in conference play to start the year.

A 3-3 record and 0-3 conference record is likely on the horizon, as Missouri’s next game is against the reigning National Champions, the Alabama Crimson Tide. Roll Tide! You know, as Alabama fans might say.

Once again, the Tide look almost unbeatable, but the good news for Missouri is that there’s no pressure on them in this one. Alabama is expected to win by nearly four touchdowns (at least that’s what they’re favored by), so no one is giving MU any chance in this game.

Let’s take a look at what to watch for as the Tigers clash with the Tide.

FIVE THINGS TO WATCH VS ALABAMA

NUMBER 5 – PRESSURE NEEDED

Part of what makes Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa so darn good is that he has the best offensive line in the nation. Alabama typically does have one of the best o-lines and it’s always tough to apply pressure on whoever is taking snaps for the Tide.

Arkansas didn’t notch a single sack on either of the Bama quarterbacks last week. Missouri had just one sack on the South Carolina signal caller last week and they’re going to have to step it up in Tuscaloosa if they want any chance at hanging around in this one.
