Well, it was a really tough grind-it-out type of win, but the Kansas City Chiefs pulled out another victory and are 4-0 on the year!

I still can’t believe the Chiefs won this one with how poorly the defense looked all night. Aside from the pass rush, the defense continues to be a liability. But hey… PATRICK MAHOMES BABY!

More from Kansas City Chiefs

Mahomes truly is a treasure. The Broncos were limiting him in the first half (well that and his receivers were dropping passes), but he bucked up and really put the pedal to the medal in the second half. Those final two Chiefs drives were really fun for fans and hopefully we’ll get to see a lot of those comeback drives over the next decade plus.

The Chiefs are now 4-0 on the year with three of those wins coming on the road. They’re 2-0 in the AFC West (with both of those games taking place outside of Arrowhead Stadium), which again proves that Andy Reid owns the West.

Another fun fact: This was the sixth straight Chiefs victory against the Broncos. Denver has not beaten the Kansas City Chiefs since week two of the 2015 season. A lot has changed since then and it’s so nice to be on the winning side of the rivalry.

When looking at the Chiefs schedule to begin the year, I never would have expected them to be 4-0 yet here we are. Next up are the feisty Jacksonville Jaguars, who will be coming to Arrowhead looking to slow down Mahomes and the rolling Chiefs.

Good luck Jags. You’re going to need it.
