Week 2 – Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers (Leigh)

The Kansas City Chiefs will hit the road for the second straight week and they’re heading to a place that has not been kind to them. Not only have the Chiefs struggled to get wins in Pittsburgh, but the Steelers, in general, have destroyed their hopes and dreams over the years.

Ben Roethlisberger has yet to lose to the Chiefs when he’s started and finished a game. He, along with Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell, have had their best games against Kansas City and this year they get the Chiefs in Pittsburgh for the Steelers’ home opener.

Last year the Chiefs were 5-0 and cruising in the AFC until the Steelers ruined that winning streak. The season prior Pittsburgh beat the Chiefs twice, once in blowout fashion early in the season and again in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Three awful losses in the span of two years.

Until the Kansas City Chiefs can prove they can beat the Steelers, I’m not going to pick them to win against them. The Chiefs’ defense looked pretty rough during the preseason and with Big Ben and the other Killer B’s already showing they can trounce the Chiefs, I have no confidence in them being able to stop this trio.

Prediction: Be prepared for a good ol’ fashioned shootout, folks. The Steelers will ultimately reign supreme, however, winning this one 42-30.

Standout Player: Tyreek Hill will catch a long touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes and go for over 100 yards on the day.

RECORD: 1-1
