The AFC West really is wide open. Which team will win the title?

More from Kansas City Chiefs

All four teams have a shot to win the division, which isn’t the case in some divisions. Take the AFC East for instance, where the Patriots have owned the division for nearly the last two decades. The Chiefs have at least been able to be competitive in their division and have a good chance to win it this year.

If I had to pick, I’d probably give my vote to the Chargers mainly because they are the most complete team and have the best quarterback. My problem with going all in with them, however, is that yes, they’re injury prone, and they haven’t beaten the Chiefs in nearly five years. To be the best, you have to beat the best.

The Broncos and Raiders don’t have as strong of chances as the Chiefs and Chargers, but it’s not impossible for them to win it. Denver has a second year head coach and a meh quarterback while the Raiders have a first year (technically) head coach and no defense whatsoever.

Next. Best Games from the Andy Reid Era. dark

It’ll be interesting to see who will take the AFC West this year, but it should be a close competition. Hopefully the Kansas City Chiefs come out on top!
