RANKING EVERY QUARTERBACK ON 2018 SCHEDULE

NUMBER 12 – ANDY DALTON

Two weeks after they square off with Blake Bortles and the Jaguars, the Chiefs will get another “meh” quarterback in Andy Dalton. Dalton’s Cincinnati Bengals visit Arrowhead in week seven in what should be a winnable game for Kansas City.

Dalton is heading into his eighth NFL season and has yet to win a playoff game with the Bengals, despite getting them to the postseason in each of his first five seasons. Last year he threw for 3,320 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.

It looked like Andy Dalton’s Cincinnati tenure could be nearing the end at the beginning of last season, but he bounced back and had a decent season (at least when you consider how awful he looked at the beginning of the 2017 campaign). The Bengals could be one of the Chiefs’ trap games this year, but they should be able to handle the Red Rifle.

LAST TIME HE FACED KC: OCTOBER 4, 2015 (Dalton went 17 of 24 for 321 yards and a touchdown in a 36-21 route of the Chiefs)
