Guard

Returning: Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, Bryan Witzmann, Parker EhingerJordan Devey

Out: Zach Fulton

In: Kahlil McKenzie

More from Kansas City Chiefs

Duvernay-Tardif is the returning starter on the right side, but the left will be hotly contested. Ehinger missed all but one game last season, and Witzmann filled in gamely. Neither have excelled and may be pushed for time by the veteran Devey.

McKenzie has the size and quickness to make the switch from nose tackle to guard. The question will be just how quickly he acclimates to the position. It would have to be considered a success if he takes any regular-season snaps at guard this year.

Center

Returning: Mitch Morse

In: Tejan Koroma, James Murray

The loss of Zach Fulton to free agency was a substantial blow. He saw time at both guard spots last year and filled in admirably for injured Mitch Morse. He may have even been a small upgrade.

James Murray is an undrafted free agent who has the size, 6’5″, 307-pounds to compete at this level. Tejan Koroma was recently signed after the Chiefs recent tryout after playing his college ball at BYU.
