Nebraska football hasn’t had as many prominent players enter the NFL Draft lately, but it’s been rare for them to only have players drafted on Day 3.

It’s been a different past few seasons for Nebraska football, but the Cornhuskers should still see a few players make it to the pros this year. Joshua Kalu has the best chance of getting drafted and then probably Tanner Lee mainly due to the importance of the quarterback position.

Lee is an interesting prospect because he could go much earlier depending on how the first few rounds shake out as far as quarterbacks go. If five or six signal callers go in round one, Lee will probably be elevated due to other teams needing quarterback roster depth as the draft goes on.

Chris Jones is someone who deserves to get selected, but it’s understandable why teams might shy away due to his injury last year. Going off of old tape isn’t exactly ideal.

It’ll be interesting to see how this year’s draft plays out for Nebraska football. Will they see more than two players get drafted or will it just be Lee and Kalu? Only time will tell.
