There is still work to be done, as there are plenty of holes to fill. With Veach’s aggressiveness and his ability to evaluate talent, this could easily be only the beginning of a dominant roster. With the vision that Veach has in mind for this organization, this very well could be some of the best years the organization has ever had.
Many things have to take place in order for this young roster to succeed. Such as Mahomes becoming the franchise quarterback the team desperately needs. But, if it all falls into place, man, oh man – watch out for those Kansas City Chiefs.
Tying it all together, the youth on the roster has nothing but upside. If Veach can continue hauling in young talent, the roster could easily become the most exciting one in the NFL. That is, if it isn’t already.

So, what is the average age within the skilled positions for the Kansas City Chiefs? Insert the number 25. Averaging 25 years of age within the skilled positions creates room to grow, as well as giving the organization a few years to morph into a dynasty. Is that perhaps too bold to say?
