Halftime – the last one of the season

Watching the two teams warm up at halftime showed just how both of the teams felt. The Chiefs were dancing to the music blaring through the stadium, and feeling like nothing had the power to slow them down.

The Titans all were slowly moving around, and getting somewhat getting loose. They looked deflated, and ready to throw in the towel. My seats were higher up, in section 318, row 38. From my viewpoint the Titans looked like a failing team, ready to quit.

However, they were the complete opposite. They were tuning in, and focusing on the second half. An 18-point lead would be hard to overcome as the away team, and they needed all of the luck they could get.

The Kansas City Chiefs were to kickoff to start the second half. The Chiefs had the chance to simply bury the Titans deeper in the ground, and move onto the divisional round game. The Chiefs likely wouldn’t blow an 18-point lead, right?
