Not all phases of the game were perfect, but it was a much needed victory. The Chiefs still lead the AFC West and next up is a date with the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Chargers will visit Arrowhead this Saturday night (yes, you read that right) and the winner of that game will likely win the division. Both teams are 7-6, but the Chiefs beat the Chargers in week three, which is why they sit in the top spot still.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

That game will not be easy. The Chargers started the season at 0-4, but have gone 7-2 since then. They’re one of the hottest teams in football and a completely different team from what Chiefs fans saw back in week three.

The Chiefs are also a different team from what we saw in week three. They got back in the win column this week, but it’s just one game. Will the defense be able to stop Philip Rivers the same way they shut down Derek Carr? Will the offense be able to put up points against a solid Chargers defense?

Better question… Will the Chiefs offensive line be able to protect Alex Smith from getting crushed by the likes of Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram? That remains to be seen, but Chiefs fans have to be in a much better mood this week. Wins are nice.

Onto Los Angeles!
