POTENTIAL LANDING SPOTS FOR MOUSTAKAS – NEW YORK METS

With David Wright‘s career likely over, the New York Mets will be in the market for a third baseman. According to Anthony DiComo, however, Asdrubal Cabrera is probably going to be their third baseman moving forward.

Luke McGrath of Amazin’ Avenue says that Moose would be a big help for New York, but the Mets might not be able to afford his services.

"Moustakas will likely receive a five to six year deal estimated to be worth $80-$100 million dollars. New York would welcome Moustakas with open arms, but no one around flushing wants to open their checkbooks the same way."

With the news that the Mets will probably slot Cabrera in at third, the Mets probably aren’t going to be in the running for Moustakas. If they do land him, however, it would immediately help their infield.
