Kansas City Royals: Reasons for fans to be thankful in 2017

Royals fans are pretty lucky when it comes down to it and for that, we should all be thankful.

While the last two seasons haven’t ended with the boys in blue making a playoff appearance, the Royals gave us that in 2014 and 2015. Fans got to experience postseason success for the first time in most of our life times.

Those 2014 and 2015 playoff runs were hands down the most fun times I’ve ever had watching sports. I’d get together with friends and have watch parties and it was a blast watching this city unite over a common goal.

While this offseason will see some popular players leave for greener pastures, it’s been a fun ride. It’s been a pleasure watching those guys grow up and develop into legitimate MLB players right before our eyes.

So when thinking about the Kansas City Royals this holiday season, be thankful for what they’ve given us! There are several baseball franchises who haven’t gotten to experience that either ever (like the Nationals) or for a very long time (like the Indians).
