REASONS TO BE THANKFUL – UPROAR OF SUCCESS

Matt Cassel, Dwayne BoweTodd Haley… yuck. Alex Smith,Travis Kelce, Andy Reid… Improvement.

Raise your hand if you have been here for the team through thick and thin. Through the rough patches, to the winning streaks, it is safe to say being a Chiefs fan is not the easiest thing in the world. But, regardless, if you stick around through it all, props to you.

Seeing this team become contenders in the NFL and considered a let-down if they do not make the playoffs makes things exciting to say the least.

A winning tradition in Kansas City is a feeling that was craved by many. The few years of below average football was flat-out miserable.

A franchise that was considered a dumpster fire was beaten with heartbreaking losses, bust after bust in the draft, and drama filled circumstances off of the football field. The status of the franchise was just pitiful. The Chiefs were stuck in a black hole, and there was no escaping.

An abundance of great draft picks, the right personnel, and talent growing every which way, the Chiefs franchise went from being the laughing-stock in the NFL, to a dominant football team always in the mix of contending.

I think that is a pretty darn good reason to be thankful to be a Chiefs fan, if you ask me.
