KC Chiefs: Running backs drafted before Kareem Hunt in 2017 NFL Draft
By Kyle Hull
Kareem the Dream – Above all others
It’s simple – Kareem “the dream” Hunt is the best running back in the NFL, and there is no slowing him down. Hunt should be around in Kansas City for the foreseeable future. A late third round pick is quickly becoming a sensation in the NFL.

Last season, Spencer Ware and Charcandrick West proved they weren’t the long-term solutions for the KC Chiefs at the running back spot. With Jamaal Charles likely done as a Chief, the organization drafted Kareem Hunt and traded up to get their guy.
Hunt has been the only real impact rookie this season and that wasn’t even supposed to happen. Ware was supposed to be the answer at running back, but he was injured in a preseason game and won’t see the field at all in 2017. In came Hunt and he’s been brilliant.
