THE GOOD

Skylar Thompson

Another week and another K-State quarterback injury. Not that anybody should take my medical advice for anything, but it appears like it’s another head injury for Alex Delton.

In stepped Skylar Thompson. First, let me try to explain what Thompson means to K-State fans. K-State generally gets low ranked recruiting classes. They target diamond in the rough types. Clearly, it’s worked. However, Skylar is a 4-star recruit. He’s the only one on the team. It basically means he’s the most talented player on the team and, in true Star Wars fashion, our only hope.

Small Sample Size be damned. Skylar clearly deserves the title “winner” after today. There is still lots of be worked on as Skylar looked like a guy who needs more experience. But with the top 2 quarterbacks out for the foreseeable future, I suspect this year will finish with Thompson. I hope he’s ready!

K-State Win!

Duh. But those have been hard to come by lately. Even last week, against a horrible team, it didn’t feel great. Now it’s a two game win streak and K-State only needs to get one more to make a bowl. Not to mention that K-State get’s a close game to go their way this season.

Bronson Massie

The best nickname on the team is Bronson Massie. Another redshirt freshman who wasn’t getting much playing time, a tweet from his sister indicated he would get the start. Bronson responded and played one of the better games for a defensive end on the year. By the way his nickname is Boom.
