GOOD: OFFENSE

Any time your team puts up 52 points, that’s a pretty darn good effort from the offense. MU’s offense didn’t sputter much in this one and that was a welcomed sight after some of their poor outings this season.

Drew Lock threw went 31 of 37 throwing for 377 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions. Lock had just six incomplete passes on the evening, which is just one more than the amount of touchdowns he threw.

The run game was terrific with 175 yards off of 34 carries. Ish Witter led the way with ten carries for 73 yards and a touchdown. While the loss of Damarea Crockett has stung, the Tigers run game did well without him in this game.

Lock’s receivers did well too. Johnathon Johnson had five receptions for 128 yards and one touchdown. J’Mon Moore caught two of Lock’s five touchdown passes while Albert Okwuegbunam had the other two.

The Tigers did exactly what they should have done in this game and that was put the smackdown on UConn.
