Ben Almquist: Chiefs 34 – Raiders 24
A short week after a loss is tough, but the Raiders are in the same boat. This game will come down to the better team, and that is most definitely the Chiefs. I expect Kareem Hunt and Travis Kelce to have big days this week on offense. That will put points on the board and keep the ball out of Derek Carr’s hands.
Leigh Oleszczak: Chiefs 28 – Raiders 17
Derek Carr sucks against the Chiefs.
Chris Taylor: Chiefs 34 – Raiders 16
Kansas City continues their dominance over the AFC West in a win going away. The loss to the Steelers left a bad taste in the Chiefs mouth and the Raiders will be the mouthwash. Look for Hunt and Kelce to be the big winners in this one. Carr isn’t 100%, and when he is at full strength he still struggles against Kansas City.
Joel Wagler: Chiefs 27 – Raiders 30
The Chiefs, on a short week following a disappointing loss at home, have to travel west to play the Raiders. The Chiefs will have a bit of a hangover but the offense will bounce back against a weak Raiders’ defense. The Chiefs’ defense will struggle a bit in this one and will allow a couple of costly big plays.
Jake Barbee: Chiefs 27 – Raiders 10
Raiders struggle to find offense in this game and the chiefs cruise to a bounce back victory.
Garrett Coleman: Chiefs 33 – Raider 17
This team has its first chance to show resiliency after a loss this season. For whatever reason, this team plays poorly against the Steelers. It’s possible with the Raiders looming on a short week they didn’t want to show much against the Steelers. I think they’ll be able to shake off their first ugly game this year and bounce back to smack the Raiders in the mouth. SB teams find a way to win games after losing in poor fashion. Chiefs take the reigns back and come out of Oakland with a win.
This is a big game for the Kansas City Chiefs as they need to get back to winning. It’s not an ideal situation to be in, but the Chiefs should be able to handle it. They’ve played well against the Raiders in recent years, and that needs to continue this week.
