#2 – PF – Zion Williamson

Zion Williamson, is he even human?

If you have not heard the name Zion Williamson, you do not own a social media account. For about two or three years now, Williamson has filled countless timelines with his gravity-defying dunks.

With nerves as I type this out, yet still owning confidence to dilute the nerves – I am going to say it:  Zion Williamson is the most well-known high school prospect since THE Lebron James.

Recently, Williamson visited Lawrence for their yearly Late Night in the Phog. A night filled with “We Want Zion” chants from the 16,000 faithful, and a hyped performance from rapper Lil’ Yachty, Williamson left Allen Fieldhouse far more than impressed.

With the momentum battles between Kentucky University, and the Kansas Jayhawks, Williamson’s announcement on where he will spend a few months playing ball will be a time to remember.

Prediction:

Kansas Jayhawks

Why?:

“We Want Zion”. There is no better fan base than the ones cheering on Bill Self & company. How can one pass that up?

(I can say, but cannot confirm that they were chanting my name as I entered the doors of Phog Allen Fieldhouse as well).

Maybe not.

Recruiting Class Ranks:

#2 overall, #1 Power Forward

Crystal Ball Prediction:

Kansas Jayhawks: 40%

Kentucky Wildcats: 33%

Duke Blue Devils: 13%

North Carolina Tarheels: 7%

Foggy/Unknown: 7%
