The 2018 Kansas basketball recruiting class in Lawrence, Kansas is shaping up to be the most exciting since 2013. Just who could we see stroll into Lawrence for next season?

Andrew Wiggins, Joel Embiid, Wayne Selden Jr., Frank Mason III, Brannen Greene, and Conner Frankamp, made up the mouth-watering 2013 recruiting class for Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks.

Now looking ahead into the 2018 season*, Self and his staff are looking at a potential number one recruiting class in the nation.

The Jayhawks already have hard commits from two top 5 centers in the stacked 2018 high school rankings. A four-star number 33rd in the nation big man in David McCormack, and four-star big man number 28th in the nation Silvio De Sousa.

High school phenom Zion Williamson is currently trending world-wide, and the Jayhawks seem to own the most momentum in reeling in Williamson, and bringing him to Lawrence.

Other names in the 2018 ESPN top 100 basketball players in high school are attracted to the Jayhawks, but still taking their time to decide. Let’s take a look.
