GOOD: DALTON SCHOEN

It’s time for K-State and football fans to get acquainted with Dalton Schoen, potential breakout player. The wide receiver from Blue Valley Northwest was given a bigger role this week and he responded with the best game by any K-State wide receiver yet.

Schoen had five catches for 128 yards and a score. He also had the play of the night, which was an 82 yard bomb where the Wildcats knifed through the talented Longhorn secondary. It was quite a sight.

I try to avoid hyperbole when I write, because as a fan of the Wildcats, it’s easy for me to want pump up every player. Schoen has earned it though. His growth this year, as only a sophomore, is important to watch for the coming seasons.
