It wasn’t an easy win, but the Kansas City Chiefs took care of business after a very good Redskins squad. KC is now 4-0 on the year and are the only undefeated team in the league. Huzzah!

More from Kansas City Chiefs

Even though the final score was 29-20, the game was never that out of reach for Washington. The score should have been 23-20, but after failed lateraling attempts, Justin Houston picked up a loose football and took it a few short steps for a touchdown.

Gamblers were probably pretty pissed about that result, but I thought it was great. The Chiefs continue to beat teams in a variety of ways and that’s what makes them such a scary force to face.

Next up are the 2-2 Houston Texans, who started off badly, but are starting to look like a playoff contender. Deshaun Watson will be the quarterback in that one and that should get Chiefs fans talking next week. Kansas City could have drafted Watson in the first round, but took Patrick Mahomes instead.

Please don’t jump to conclusions about Watson being the greatest ever. We haven’t even seen Mahomes take a regular season snap yet. No one has any idea which one is better.

Until that game, however, let’s sit back and enjoy this hard fought Chiefs victory! It sure was a fun one!
