There is absolutely no way anyone can argue that the Kansas City Chiefs haven’t been the most impressive team in the league early on. The Chiefs have shown that they can beat you in a variety of ways. It’s early in the season still, and anything can happen, but Kansas City looks like a legitimate contender.

I had the Pittsburgh Steelers ahead of the Chiefs last week, but losing to the Bears will change that in a hurry. As of now, I can’t see any team in the league that I would say is clearly better than Kansas City is.
Of course, when you are king of the mountain than everyone is gunning for you. The Chiefs will get the best effort that each of their opponents has to offer week in and week out. However, this is a team that is well built to handle it.
Your Kansas City Chiefs will be the top team on my rankings until someone can prove otherwise.
It has been a great start to the season for the Kansas City Chiefs. Early on, they do look like the most impressive team in the NFL. There are some weaknesses to this unit, but nothing that would appear to be crippling to them. Keep an eye on this team when January and February come around, because they’ll be in the mix.
