56. Week 2 Projected Points: 8.4. Wide Receiver. Bengals. A.J. Green. 2. player
It was a rough opener for A.J. Green and the Bengals, but don’t you dare think about sitting him this week! Green is an elite wide receiver and yes, Andy Dalton was horrendous against the Ravens, but never count Green out of the action.
Green had five receptions last week for 74 yards, but didn’t find the end zone, as Cincinnati was shut out of their home opener. They’ll be looking to put up their first points of the season this weekend and you better believe A.J. Green will be who they’re relying on for that.
The Texans defense didn’t look as unstoppable as it once did and I imagine Green will be able to get open and make some big plays for the Bengals. Even if the Texans defense was elite, I’d still suggest playing Green because come on… He’s A.J. freaking Green. He’s one of the best in the business and you best be playing him this week.
