START ‘EM #1

Texans. DeAndre Hopkins. 1. player. 10. Week 2 Projected Points: 7.8. Wide Receiver

DeAndre Hopkins was the lone bright spot of the Houston Texans offense on Sunday. He caught the team’s only touchdown pass and ended the day with seven receptions for 55 yards and that one touchdown grab.

Hopkins should be able to get some key grabs on Thursday night.

While many people might be terrified to start Hopkins due to the disaster that is the Texans quarterback situation, I suggest keeping him in your lineup. For one, he’s proven that he’s one of the best receivers in the league.

The second reason is that if rookie Deshaun Watson gets the start in week two (which he probably should after how bad Tom Savage played), then he’ll definitely be looking Hopkins’ way all night long. That will benefit Hopkins’ fantasy football owners for sure.

Plus, did you see Cincinnati’s defense last week? They were bad and left guys wide open, so Hopkins should be able to get some key grabs on Thursday night. Hopefully he finds the end zone again!
