GOOD: OFFENSE AS A WHOLE

I was going to give Tyreek Hill his own slide here, but I decided to just go with the rest of the offense instead. Hill did have an explosive night though, catching seven passes for 133 yards and a touchdown.

On that touchdown, the Patriots left Hill wide open down the field and Smith took advantage. Chiefs fans were in shock when Smith not only went for the play, but completed it and the Chiefs took the lead in the third quarter.

I didn’t think the Chiefs would move the ball well at all, but they proved me wrong.

Smith did a good job at spreading the football around, connecting with Hill for seven passes, Travis Kelce for five passes, Kareem Hunt for five passes, Albert Wilson for five, Chris Conley for two, and the rest getting a target here and there.

Hunt had two of Smith’s passing touchdowns with Hill having another and Demetrius Harris getting the first Chiefs score of the year. How about that?

The rushing attack did its job as well, but most of that damage was done by Kareem Hunt. He did his job and then some.

I didn’t think the Chiefs would move the ball well at all, especially in the season opener, but they proved me wrong. Smith was as better than ever and his receivers looked top notch. Bottom five receiving, my butt!
