Kansas City Royals

Fans love championships, and the Kansas City Royals are the team to have delivered most recently. That had given them a lot of clout in the Kansas City sports scene. Unfortunately, the team appears to be falling on hard times…which is a much more familiar feeling for Royals fans.

Royals Lose Two Of Three Against Indians

The Royals slipped even further back with a series loss to division foes, the Cleveland Indians. Wins have been tough to come by for the Royals this year. They continue to struggle hitting the ball, ranking last in most of the major offensive categories.

Royals Win Series Against Rays

It has been a rarity for the Royals to win a whole series this year, but took three of four form the Rays. Is this a sign of hope, or just an anomaly? Either way, it has given a lot of fans some pause when talking about the dismantling of the current roster. The big story out of this series though was some bad blood after Salvador Perez was thrown at.

Christian Colon Designated For Assignment

It came as a bit of a surprise, but the Kansas City Royals finally decided to move on from Christian Colon. This was a move that many had thought would happen prior to the season, but the Royals held onto him. The decision to do it now is a bit puzzling.
